Information from others who are not USBJD Members or supporters

USBJD collects certain personal information from others who are not USBJD members or supporters who wish to purchase or obtain USBJD materials or to register for an activity or program. This information includes:

USBJD collects certain personal information online from others who contact the USBJD to participate in research surveys or to obtain particular medical information. This information includes:

USBJD does not knowingly collect information from children under age 13.
USBJD encrypts sensitive personal data, such as credit card information, while being transmitted on the Internet. Credit card information is transmitted securely using SSL encryption.
The USBJD website is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information about its visitors. It does recognize the home server of visitors, but not e-mail addresses. For example, USBJD can determine which Internet service provider our visitors use, but not the names, addresses or other information about our visitors that would allow us to identify the particular visitors to our sites.

How may this Personal Information Be Used?

Personal information may be used for internal USBJD purposes by authorized USBJD staff.

- The USBJD may publish a Membership Directory.
